On the 25th of April 2017, ASP hosted the Aviation Skills Partnership Manifesto Update VIP event at the House of Commons. The evening ended with the presentation of the Aviation Skills Partnership Awards, as presented by Andy Perkins and Abi Witts. The results were as follows:

Aeroplane Skills Young Person of the Year 2017 - awarded to a young person (under 25) who can demonstrate the impact that investing their skills and development has had on their career and life.

The Special Partnership Award - Alongside its Annual Aviation Skills Awards, Aviation Skills Partnership (ASP) introduced a new ‘Special Partnership Award’. It recognises individuals or organisations who have played a particularly significant and special role in the development and implementation of aviation skills. It is only awarded in special cases, and is presented by the CEO, Simon Witts.
