Education is of the upmost importance to Aviation Skills Partnership.

We want aviation to become a part of the mainstream education system in the UK. We don’t want our industry to appear aloof, inaccessible, and elitist. From a young age, children and teenagers will know that, no matter what their background, a career in aviation is achievable.

We are in the process of introducing localised aviation hubs which will be based in schools, colleges, and universities across the country. This will give young people a local, accessible connection to the aviation industry and will provide them with the resources and information they need to pursue an aviation career. One of our first projects is to create, develop and implement the International Aviation Academy - Norwich which will be rooted in Engineering but will grow to cover all six areas of aviation. Our Hubs are under development in a number of areas throughout the UK and we will provide updates when we are able to.

Aviation Skills Partnership endeavours to connect aviation employers, charities, training providers, universities, colleges, schools, and awarding bodies, so that we can support each other and the aviation professionals of tomorrow.

Aviation Skills Partnership are now offering ASP Masterclasses. They are aimed at school pupils between the ages of 14 and 18. The masterclass session covers all six areas of Aviation: Operations and Crewing, Airport Operations, Cabin Crew, Pilots, Aircraft Maintenance and Air Traffic Control. You can find out more by downloading the leaflet below:
