Our links with industry partners are of great importance. We believe that collaboration with members of the aviation industry benefits everyone. The industry get better employees, and the students get better jobs. We work with a wide range of industry partners to ensure that young aviation professionals complete their training and education with the right blend of academic skills, practical / industry skills and employability / soft skills.

Our Aviation Skills Hubs are a key part of this. We are in the process of introducing localised aviation hubs which will be based in schools, colleges, and universities across the country. This will give young people a local, accessible connection to the aviation industry and will provide them with the resources and information they need to pursue an aviation career. One of our first projects is to create, develop and implement the International Aviation Academy - Norwich which will be rooted in Engineering but will grow to cover all six areas of aviation.

Our Hubs provide access to industry programmes through new or existing training providers and / or colleges and partners. There are both physical and virtual hubs that specialise in at least one of our six areas of aviation (shown in the career pathways wheel).

Our Hubs are under development in a number of areas throughout the UK and we will provide updates when we are able to.
