On Wednesday, Aviation Skills Partnership attended the Air League’s Youth in Aviation event at the House of Lords. The event is sponsored by ASP and is an opportunity for organisations across the aviation industry and various elected officials to come together and discuss how we can work together to foster the next generation of aviation professionals.
Our team was comprised of ASP staff members and ambassadors, who all did an excellent job representing us. Our delegation included Anna McGrady, who gave an inspiring speech about her ASP-supported journey to becoming a First Officer with Easyjet.
Also in attendance were Baroness Garden, Matt Hancock MP, Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty, Lord Popat, and Ian Seager from Flyer Magazine.
While it was a productive, interesting, and inspiring event, there was also time for some fun too. It’s not every day that you see MPs and Lords playing with paper planes and balloon cars!
