On the 8th March ASP staff Lee Sutton and Devon Green attended the Norfolk Skills & Careers Festival to represent and promote ASP. Here's what Devon had to say about the event:

"With over 3000 students from 60 different schools across the East region attending over the day and a half long event, the Norfolk Careers and Skills show was a great opportunity for ASP to network, and educate young minds on all things aviation.

The idea to incorporate the use of technology by using the virtual reality headset proved to be a big hit, with plenty of students eager to immerse themselves into a 360 degree aviation world, whether it be piloting a SWISS Airbus A320, or experiencing a taste of a typical day from inside Heathrow’s Air Traffic Control tower.

ASP’s stand generated plenty of questions from keen students wanting to know primarily who we are as a company, how they can get into the industry in the future and specifically what is required of them in order to do so, accompanied by a consistent wave of interest from a variety of event attendees about the IAA-N.

ASP would like to thank the Norfolk Skills and Careers show for allowing us to spread our aviation wings and express to all those across the region who attended, that the pathways into an aviation career really are possible."
