The event is held at The Gliding Centre in Leicestershire and features many exciting activities which have previously included; a climbing wall, balloons, hovercraft, model jets, helicopters, aircraft, and simulators. They also have a range of display teams support by participating in an airshow including the BBMF Lancaster, Red Arrows, Lauren Richardson, AeroSPARX, Gliderfx, and gliding activity.

Aviation Skills Partnership (ASP) are pleased to be supporting the event this year. ASP are an organisation devoted to helping young people from all backgrounds acquire the qualifications and experience they need to start a career in any aspect of the aviation industry.

The organiser of the Youth Aviation Day said that “the Youth Aviation Day will benefit from ASP’s involvement, and vice versa. Ultimately, it will make the event even better for the young people attending by supporting them on there pathways to an aviation career. The Youth Aviation Day is great for education and engaging young people from all walks of life.”
